Polestar has announced the introduction of two additional variants of the 2025 Polestar 3 SUV just before its first deliveries in the US later this year. The new variants include a base-level dual motor version starting at a price of $73,400, offering customers more choices in the Polestar 3 lineup. This move comes as Polestar prepares to expand its presence in the competitive electric vehicle market.
The 3 from Polestar is the third model from the Geely-owned automaker and its second fully-electric option, following the success of the Polestar 2 sedan. Launched in October 2022, the Polestar 3 is the brand’s first SUV and the first Polestar EV to be manufactured in the US, marking a significant milestone for the company.

Initially announced to start at $83,000 in the US, the Polestar 3 has faced production delays, leading to a revised pricing strategy and the introduction of new variants. Production is currently underway in China, with US builds expected to follow later this year.
The Polestar 3 lineup now includes a standard Long Range Dual Motor version with the Pilot Pack, priced below $73,500. The Pilot Pack, which includes features like Lane Change Assist, Park Assist Pilot, and a head-up display, is now standard on all Polestar 3 variants. Customers can also choose an SUV variant priced between the original options, starting at $79,400, which includes the Pilot and Performance upgrades but not the Plus Pack.

The Performance Pack, available as an upgrade, offers enhanced power, torque, and acceleration, along with chassis tuning, 22-inch Performance forged wheels, and “Swedish gold” accents throughout.
All variants of the 2025 Polestar 3 SUV qualify for the Polestar Clean Vehicle Incentive of $7,500 for customers who choose to lease. Deliveries of the Polestar 3 in the US are set to begin in Q2 2024, starting with the $73,400 standard version. The new variants with revised pricing are now available for configuration and pre-order.
