Polestar has opened its largest retail facility to date in Kista, a technology district in Stockholm, consolidating vehicle display, sales, servicing and delivery operations into a single flagship location as the electric car maker expands its global physical presence.
The new site spans more than 1,000 square metres and serves as a showcase for Polestar’s full model range, including the Polestar 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The facility is intended to act as a template for the brand’s retail strategy as it grows a network that now exceeds 190 sales locations worldwide.

The Kista location is also notable for its exterior branding, featuring a 5.5-metre Polestar logo — the largest the company has installed globally — making it a prominent visual landmark in the area. Polestar said the interior design follows the company’s global minimalist design standards, consistent with retail spaces in cities such as Sydney and Seoul, with a gallery-style layout focused on vehicles and technical features.
Beyond vehicle display, the expanded floor plan allows Polestar to integrate functions that are typically split across multiple locations. The site includes on-site workshop and technical service facilities, as well as support for test drives, pre-owned vehicle sales and new car handovers.

Martin Ölund, Head of Retail Network Development at Polestar, said the facility is designed to handle the entire customer journey in one place. “Visitors can navigate the entire purchasing process, from initial test drives to final delivery, within the same location,” he said.
