Polestar has announced an expansion of its retail network in Australia, including the opening of a new test drive and handover centre in Canberra. The move aims to improve accessibility for buyers in a key Australian market as the company continues its global shift toward active selling.

Since January 2025, Polestar has added five new retail locations across South Australia, regional Victoria, and western Sydney. The new Canberra centre is expected to facilitate both online and in-store customer experiences.

Polestar Australia Managing Director Scott Maynard said the company is optimistic about the region’s potential. “This year has already been a strong one for Polestar Australia, and we intend to keep that momentum rolling through the second half of 2025,” Maynard said. He added, “With strong government support for EVs and a robust public charge network, the ACT is a market with huge potential for Polestar.”

The expanded network also includes a new retail presence in Launceston and the launch of Polestar Rushcutters Bay, replacing the Alexandria location. Polestar owners can now access 19 service points across the country for maintenance and accessories.

Polestar also plans to introduce the electric performance GT Polestar 5 later in 2025.
