The Polestar 3 has received additional recognition from international automotive publications, including being named Best EV SUV by BBC’s Top Gear and Luxury Car of the Year by Australian outlet Chasing Cars. These awards follow the vehicle’s recent five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
Launched in 2024, the full-size electric SUV has been noted for its design, electric vehicle technology, and focus on safety. In April, Euro NCAP awarded the Polestar 3 a five-star rating, with a 93% score in child occupant protection—the highest rating in that category for a passenger vehicle in the last nine years. The vehicle also received scores of 90% for adult occupant protection, 79% for vulnerable road users, and 83% for safety assistance features.
At Top Gear’s 2025 Electric Awards, the editorial team recognized the Polestar 3 for its combination of design, usability, and technology. Chasing Cars also selected the vehicle as its top luxury car for 2025, stating, “The Polestar 3 is a good electric vehicle, but a fantastic luxury vehicle. It is one of the best performance SUVs on the market – full stop – and easily one of the finest new car releases of 2025.”
