Polestar has released the first official images and teaser video of Polestar 3 with an estimated initial range.
The Polestar 3 will be the first electric SUV model from the Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer. The electric performance SUV will make its world premiere in October 2022, marking Polestar’s entry into a segment with high margins and competition.
From the published photos, the Polestar 3 comes with a sporty side profile. Design highlights lead to the sloping roofline, panoramic glass roof, chunky D-pillar, rising window lines, plastic body cladding, and aerodynamic elements.
Polestar also revealed the estimated range of the Polestar 3. Using a dual motor drivetrain and a large battery, the Polestar 3 has an estimated WLTP range of over 372 miles (600 km). No other details regarding the specifications have been announced

Customers will be able to order the Polestar 3 at the time of its initial launch which will take place in October. Production of the Polestar 3 will begin in early 2023 in the United States and China.
The Polestar 3 will be the first Polestar model to be built in the United States, at the Volvo plant in South Carolina along with the full-electric Volvo XC90.
Polestar aims to launch a new electric vehicle every year for the next three years: Polestar 3 by 2022, Polestar 4 by 2023, and Polestar 5 by 2024.
The brand also has ambitions to expand in 30 global markets by the end of 2023. This expansion step is carried out to meet the sales target of ten times from around 29,000 in 2021 to around 290,000 by the end of 2025.
