Polestar has announced the Australian pricing for their latest offering, the Polestar 3 electric SUV. Following the unveiling of the vehicle in October 2022, the company received almost 7,000 expressions of interest, leading to the opening of the order books for the vehicle. The Polestar 3 will be launched in Australia in the first quarter of 2024, with two versions available – the Long range Dual Motor starting at AUD 132,900 and the Long range Dual Motor with Performance Pack starting at AUD 141,900.
The Polestar 3 comes loaded with a range of standard equipment, including air suspension, a panoramic glass roof, LED lighting, retractable door handles with proximity sensing, and 21-inch alloy wheels. The Plus Pack and Pilot Pack, which include premium and luxury features such as a 25-speaker audio system, head-up display, and advanced driver-assistance technology, will also be fitted as standard for the first model year. The dual-motor configuration produces 360 kW of power and 840 Nm of torque, with the Performance Pack upping the total output to 380 kW and 910 Nm.

The Polestar 3 features advanced chassis control, with its dual-chamber air suspension and electric Torque Vectoring Dual Clutch function on the rear axle, allowing for maximum driving comfort and control. The car is also equipped with a 111 kWh battery pack, providing a driving range of up to 610 km WLTP, and is capable of bidirectional charging.
Polestar 3 is the first vehicle to feature centralised computing with the NVIDIA DRIVE core computer, which processes data from the car’s multiple sensors and cameras to support advanced safety features and driver monitoring. The car is also equipped with cutting-edge technology from Zenseact and Smart Eye, providing a seamless Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The car’s SmartZone collects forward-facing sensors, cameras, and radar modules, and the optional Pilot Pack with LiDAR from Luminar provides even greater real-time data about the car’s surroundings.

The interior of the Polestar 3 is designed for safety and comfort, with two closed-loop driver monitoring cameras that monitor the driver’s eyes, and four interior radar sensors to protect against leaving children or pets in the car. The infotainment system is powered by a next-generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform and is controlled via a 14.5-inch center display running on Android Automotive OS, which features over-the-air (OTA) updates.
