A new lease offer from Polestar has positioned the 2024 Polestar 2 as an appealing choice for electric car enthusiasts in the U.S. The promotion, featured on the Polestar website, reduces the monthly lease price to $299, making it a competitive option in the electric vehicle market.

The offer includes an increased clean vehicle incentive for leasing, now at $10,000, up from $7,500. This adjustment brings the price of a new Polestar 2 down to $39,295 after accounting for destination, delivery, and acquisition fees. The vehicle can be leased for 27 months at $299 per month, with a $3,000 down payment and the first month’s payment of $299.

While the total cost over the 27-month lease period is $8,073 or $11,073 with the upfront payment, Costco members can benefit from a $2,000 incentive through the Costco Auto Program, reducing the down payment to $1,000.

It’s important to note that not all applicants will qualify for this offer. Polestar specifies that interested customers must meet PFS credit standards, and the promotion is valid only from May 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024. Additionally, lessees will be responsible for $0.25/mile for excess wear and mileage beyond the 10,000 mile/year limit.

Initially exclusive to the 2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor, the offer has now been extended to include the Long Range Dual Motor variant at the same price. Polestar currently has a variety of eligible 2024 Polestar 2 models available for immediate delivery.

This competitive leasing offer reflects a broader trend of attractive deals for battery-electric vehicles across the United States. In late March, the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 6 SE emerged as the most affordable new car to lease in the country, priced at just $239 per month for 24 months, with $239 due at signing before taxes and fees.
