Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 : Experimental High-performance EV with limited production

Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar has announced plans to launch an experimental electric car called the Beast in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Although the launch of an electric vehicle is not Polestar’s first time, the release of Best to the global automotive market marks Polestar’s seriousness in turning its production target into a fully electric vehicle.

Unlike other Polestar electric vehicles, the Beast, which is a sedan, is modified by Polestar like a racing car. Where the position of the vehicle is widened by 10 millimeters while the height of the car is lowered by 25mm.

Not only that, the Beast also has 9 x 21-inch wheels and Pirelli PZero Rosso 275/30R2. This change is intended to make it easier for Beast to move on various tracks.

In terms of performance, this new vehicle from Polestar will also be driven by plug-in hybrid technology with a power of 476 HP, complete with Brembo front brakes and standard four pistons.

In terms of features, the Polestar Beast is complete with a special 2-way hlins damper that can be adjusted with additional adjustment space installed under the hood. The damper installation is intended to reduce traction friction and improve vehicle performance.

Carrying the dominant white color with a black strip added in the middle of the body, this racing car looks more futuristic. Although so far Polestar has not leaked the price of the electric sedan, but according to The Verge, the Polestar Beast is rumored to be selling for 75,500 US dollars.

Unfortunately the Polestar Beast was released in a limited edition of 270 units and only sold exclusively in Europe, China, and North America. For lovers of sedan-type electric cars, Polestar recommends that consumers pre-order through the official Polestar website.
