Automobili Pininfarina has announced that it has started production of the Battista electric GT supercar. The Italian high-performance car manufacturer built the Battista by hand in the 2,300-square-meter hall at Cambiano in the Italian region of Piedmont. Maximum production is only 150 units and deliveries will begin in late summer 2022.
The electric motor for the Battista was provided by Croatian specialist Rimac, who has also started production of the Nevera electric hypercar. Apart from the Battista, Automobili Pininfarina is planning a whole range of other electric models, such as SUVs and sedans.
The premises used to manufacture the Battista have been specially redesigned and are divided into 14 production and quality assurance areas.
“Each individual Battista is assembled by 10 craftspeople, taking more than 1,250 hours. The bespoke design features and finish of the exclusive Battista Anniversario extends this up to 1,340 hours,” writes the manufacturer.
Battista powered by an electric motor is indeed presenting a look that is so aggressive. Seen from the hood design which is quite sharp, coupled with a front lip spoiler accent, giving an aggressive aura that is increasingly challenging.
To make it more exclusive, the manufacturer only produced 150 units of this car, and five of them will be Battista Anniversario models which will later come with unique specifications.
Each Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar, the company has embedded the same powertrain as the Rimac Nevera and comes from four electric motors and a T-shaped battery. The power generated is not kidding, because it can reach 1,847 HP and a peak torque of 2,340 Nm.
With this super power, this electric hypercar can accelerate from rest to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds. As for the quarter mile, it takes less than 9 seconds!
In addition to promising through the performance of the pacemaker, the Pininfarina Battista hypercar is also equipped with very capable settings. For example, in the suspension section, engineers have embedded a double wishbone front and rear suspension complete with conventional dampers, springs, and anti-roll-bars, and is equipped with five driving modes that can enhance driving.
Since this hypercar does not have an exhaust because it is based on an electric car, the manufacturer has also equipped this model with unique sounds that can be heard from inside and outside the car to give the essence of the hypercar a deeper feel.
Every customer who has made a purchase transaction, they can also choose a maintenance package starting from 5 years or 10 years and can also choose a replacement body panel package that is made and adapted to the same configuration as the original car.
