Piaggio reveals electric scooter at EICMA 2022, range up to 97 km

Piaggio has announced an electric scooter named Piaggio 1 2023 edition. The company announced it at the EICMA 2022 event in Milan, Italy.

The electric scooter consists of three models which include Piaggio 1, Piaggio 1+ and Piaggio 1 Active. This two-wheeled electric vehicle has a maximum speed of 60 km/h and a range of up to 97 km in Eco mode.

The Piaggio 1 and Piaggio 1+ electric vehicles have a top speed of up to 45 km/h and a maximum range of 55 km and 97 km respectively. The Piaggio 1 Active comes with a traditional scooter design and produces a top speed of 60 km/h.

Reporting from Gizmochina (14/11), the three variants of the Piaggio 1 series offer various uses for consumers. All three models also come with a removable battery arrangement for easy charging.

In terms of design, the 2023 version of Piaggio 1 features a minimalist and lightweight model. These electric vehicles are easier to drive and are perfect for the safety of everyday urban commuting. The electric motors of the Piaggio 1 range are located on the rear wheels and are suitable for urban use with lots of red lights and traffic jams.

The vehicle also delivers more power when making hilly climbs. The electric scooter can reach a peak power output of 3 kW for the Active version and around 2.4 kW for the other versions. The powerful electric motors of the Piaggio 1 series provide a significant increase in acceleration for the three electric scooters.

The electric vehicle frame is also equipped with a digital instrumentation panel, full LED lighting and keyless operation. There is spacious under-seat storage that can accommodate a helmet or other items.

The color options available for the new Piaggio 1 are gray, white, black, Sunshine Mix, Arctic Mix and Flame Mix. The last three color choices are two-tone colors that target young people. There is no further information regarding the price of the two-wheeled electric vehicle.
