PALFINGER, a global leader in material handling solutions, has launched the FLS 25 eDRIVE, marking its entry into the electric forklift market. The truck-mounted forklift is designed to meet the needs of construction engineers, motorcycle dealers, and logistics fleets seeking sustainable and efficient lifting solutions.
The FLS 25 eDRIVE boasts a 26 kW (35 hp) electric motor and a lifting capacity of 2.5 tons (5,000 lbs.), making it suitable for demanding tasks. Its innovative design features up to 180 degrees of steering angle, enabling exceptional maneuverability. Combined with the precision offered by its electric drive, the FLS 25 eDRIVE promises to enhance productivity on job sites.
“This forklift is more than just a tool—it’s a statement of progress,” PALFINGER stated in its announcement, underscoring the company’s commitment to advancing sustainable technologies.
While detailed battery specifications remain under wraps, PALFINGER has revealed that the forklift supports overnight charging via a CCS L2 connector. A digital dashboard provides real-time battery monitoring, enhancing operational control. Safety features include a standard rear-facing camera transmitting to the driver’s cab, offering clear visibility to reduce the risk of accidents.
Based in Illinois, PALFINGER has a long history of offering truck-mounted forklifts in various configurations, including side-seat, center-seat, and remote-operated options. The FLS 25 eDRIVE, however, is the company’s first fully electric forklift, reflecting the industry’s shift toward greener alternatives.
