Overall all NIO users had logged more than 5 billion kilometers of driving as of May 21, the Chinese electric vehicle company said on its app.

NIO said the first billion kilometers were recorded in 846 days, and rose from 4 billion to 5 billion kilometers in just 113 days.

NIO has cumulatively reduced carbon emissions by 328,709 tonnes through the use of clean energy, the equivalent of planting about 18.26 million trees, according to the company.

Of all NIO users, 3,126 users have driven more than 100,000 kilometers. Meanwhile 54 users have crossed 200,000 kilometers and two have exceeded 300,000 kilometers.

NIO users have driven more than 418 million km using the NIO Pilot-assisted steering system, and 158 million kilometers using the NOP (Navigation on Pilot) feature.

Meanwhile, the virtual voice assistant, NOMI, has been used a cumulative 520 million times, with the most frequently executed commands being directions, setting air conditioning, and playing music.

To date, NIO users have used the service at NIO charging stations 1.18 million times, the company said.

Cumulatively, customers used the battery swapping service 8.81 million times, with an average of more than 20,000 battery replacements per day.

In April, NIO marks their 200,000 electric vehicle production. This achievement is only one year after reaching its 100,000th production.
