One of the innovations to bridge the change in the era of fossil fuel cars with full electric cars is in the form of cars with hybrid technology.

The Nissan Kicks e-Power is a hybrid car that is quite unique because it relies 100% on electric drive but is equipped with a fuel engine that feeds a battery for its propulsion.

Nissan will make a refresh on Kicks e-Power 2022. As reported by Japanese media Creative Trend, said that Nissan will only release the new model in May 2022 and is accompanied by various updates.

The changes made are a light facelift and it doesn’t seem like there are too many changes in appearance. However, in terms of the vehicle’s mechanical system, there seems to be a very significant change.

If currently the Kicks e-Power is only available in front-wheel drive mode (2WD), then next year a four-wheel drive (4WD) variant will appear. This 4WD system is similar to the system adopted by the latest Nissan Note Aura.

Still from the same source, Nissan is also preparing Kicks e-Power with special specifications. One estimate is the Nissan Kicks e-Power Dark Edition.
