Nissan is enticing Chevy Bolt EV and EUV owners to consider switching to a Nissan LEAF with a new incentive offer. The 2024 Nissan LEAF, priced starting at $28,140, is already one of the most affordable electric vehicles (EVs) in the U.S.
Citing data from Cox Automotive, Nissan notes that the LEAF was the most affordable EV in the first three months of 2024, with an average selling price (including discounts) of $27,956, beating out Nissan’s Ariya, which came in second at $35,556.

With access to a portion of the federal EV tax credit, the LEAF can be purchased for as little as $24,390.
As GM ceased Chevy Bolt EV production at the end of 2023, Nissan is offering a new “LEAF Conquest” incentive until July 8. Current Bolt EV or EUV owners and lessees are eligible for $1,000 toward the purchase or lease of a LEAF, provided they finance at one of Nissan’s promotional rates or lease through NMAC. Importantly, the offer does not require a trade-in and can be transferred to other household members.

This marks the first time Nissan has specifically targeted Chevy Bolt EV drivers, according to online auto research firm CarsDirect.
Meanwhile, GM is also offering incentives for Bolt EV owners to switch to the new Chevy Blazer or Equinox. Until July 1, Bolt EV owners can receive up to $3,000 off the Equinox EV and $1,500 off the Blazer EV.
GM touts the Equinox EV as the “most affordable” in its class with a range of at least 300 miles. The Equinox 2LT starts at $43,295, with a $34,995 model expected to be available for order later this year.
