Nio’s sub-brand Onvo has unveiled the interior of its upcoming full-size SUV, the L90, as it prepares for presales to begin on July 10 in China. The model marks the second entry from Onvo, following the L60 fastback SUV, and aims to compete in China’s growing premium electric SUV segment.
The Onvo L90 features a three-row, six-seat (2+2+2) layout described by the brand as offering “six VIP seats.” The interior emphasizes comfort and convenience with full electric adjustment for each seat, zero-gravity modes in the first and second rows, and amenities such as a center touchscreen for rear passengers, folding table, refrigerator, ceiling-mounted monitor, and dual sunroof panels. The interior design incorporates chrome accents, wooden trim, and button-based door mechanisms to reinforce a premium feel.
The L90 will be available with two powertrain options: a rear-wheel drive version with a 340 kW (456 hp) motor, and an all-wheel drive dual-motor variant offering up to 440 kW (590 hp). Both versions use an 85-kWh battery, delivering a CLTC range of up to 605 km. Built on a 900V high-voltage system, the L90 supports both ultra-fast charging and Nio’s battery swap infrastructure, enabling full battery replacement at over 2,000 swap stations across China.
With a body length of 5,145 mm and a wheelbase of 3,110 mm, the Onvo L90 offers a large front trunk under its extended bonnet and rides on 21-inch wheels. The presale price is expected to fall between 220,000 and 250,000 yuan ($30,700 to $34,890), as Onvo targets greater sales traction than its first model, the L60, which sold 46,223 units from September 2024 through May 2025.
