Nio has officially introduced the ET9 Horizon Edition, a new variant of its executive-class sedan, showcasing a more refined exterior design highlighted by a two-tone paint finish and exclusive wheel options.
The launch follows a regulatory filing earlier in the day that revealed Nio’s plans to enhance the ET9 with premium design elements. The automaker later confirmed the new edition via its official Weibo account, releasing a series of images and promotional materials emphasizing the Horizon Edition’s design language.

The ET9 Horizon Edition adopts a blue-and-silver two-tone color scheme that reflects Nio’s signature styling. The company stated that the visual design aims to balance elegance and harmony, offering a more sophisticated alternative to traditional two-tone aesthetics. Complementary wheels and a distinct “Horizon” badge further differentiate the new model.
Originally launched at Nio Day 2024, the ET9 carries a starting price of RMB 788,000 ($107,220). Limited to 999 units at launch, the initial production sold out quickly. The sedan is currently available in both standard and signature editions, priced at RMB 788,000 and RMB 808,000, respectively.

As demand for personalization continues to grow among early ET9 buyers, Nio said it developed the Horizon Edition to meet these preferences. Additional product and design details for the ET9 Horizon Edition are expected to be released in the coming months.
