Nio said it will release unaudited second-quarter financial results before U.S. markets open on September 2, followed by an earnings call later the same day.
The company delivered 72,056 vehicles in the quarter, meeting its forecast of 72,000 to 75,000 units. That marked a 25.6% increase from a year earlier and a 71.2% rise compared with the first quarter.

In the first quarter, Nio reported revenue of RMB 12.03 billion ($1.66 billion) and a net loss of RMB 6.75 billion, which was 30.2% higher year-on-year but narrowed 5.1% from the fourth quarter of 2024. Gross margin stood at 7.6%, up from 4.9% in the same period last year but lower than 11.7% in the previous quarter.
The company also began deliveries of the L90 electric SUV under its Onvo brand on August 1, following its July 29 launch. Nio said the model has received strong initial demand, with production working to keep pace.
