Nio has commenced deliveries of its 2024 ET7 electric sedan, which went on sale on April 25, coinciding with the first day of the Beijing auto show.
Nio announced today on Weibo that deliveries of the 2024 ET7 Executive Edition to the first customers began on April 30. The company also stated that during the upcoming Labor Day holiday, the ET7 will be available for test drives.
The Labor Day holiday in China is scheduled for May 1-5 this year, with May 11 designated as an extra workday, albeit a Saturday.
The 2024 ET7, launched with a starting price identical to its predecessor but featuring 180 upgrades, is offered in two options: Executive Edition and Executive Signature Edition, replacing the standard and Signature Editions of the previous model. Nio has highlighted the 2024 ET7’s executive sedan character to target a more specific user base.
The starting price of the 2024 ET7, including the battery, remains at RMB 428,000 ($59,100), the same as the 2023 model. However, the price increases by RMB 10,000 to RMB 516,000 for customers choosing the top-trim version of the ET7.
Originally unveiled at Nio Day 2020 on January 9, 2021, with deliveries starting in late March 2022, the Nio ET7 is the company’s first model based on the NT 2.0 platform.
