After announcing the initial production of the NIO ET7, on March 28, NIO delivered the electric sedan to their customers in China.
The delivery time of the NIO ET7 Sedan is according to a predetermined schedule and shipped from the company’s head office in Hefei, Anhui province
The ET7 is the first electric sedan produced by NIO. The three previous electric vehicle models produced by NIO were SUV types (ES8, ES6 and EC6).
The ET7 uses the second generation technology platform, NT2.0 and is the first NIO electric vehicle to use it. There are over 100 configurations for convenience, security and smart technology as standard.
The NIO ET7 will feature NIO Autonomous Driving (NAD) in the fourth quarter of this year. To use this feature, NIO applies a subscription system for users who want to use it.
On March 5, 2022, NIO began test drives for potential buyers of ET7 in 80 cities in China. The company says it turns test drives into orders at a much higher rate.
NIO did not specify the number of vehicles delivered to consumers in the first shipment on March 28.
Delivery times will vary depending on regional conditions and the Covid-19 pandemic.
