Sweden is the fourth European market for NIO. Previously, the electric vehicle manufacturer from China marked the launch of its European market in Berlin a month ago.
NIO has also delivered the first examples of ET7 to customers in Germany and the Netherlands shortly after the launch event in Berlin.
Meanwhile, for the Swedish market, NIO has delivered the ET7 electric sedan in Sweden this week. As in the Netherlands and Germany, Nio also launched the ET7 electric sedan in Sweden.
In its publication, NIO shows pictures of two early customers in Sweden who got the ET7 electric sedan.
Nio has also opened its first battery swap station in Sweden located in Varberg – located south of Gothenburg on the motorway to Malmö. At the exit of Varberg itself there are also various well-known fast charging stations such as Ionity, Mer and Tesla.
Meanwhile, in Germany there are two Nio battery swap stations. In China alone NIO reaches 1,200 Power Swap Stations a milestone in China.
Nio is initially available in the European market on a subscription basis only. Due to heavy demand, the company has revised its decision and is also offering the electric car for sale in Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden – but not until 2023.
