Electric vehicle manufacturer Mullen is set to reveal the long-anticipated world debut of the Five RS at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. Despite facing delays in the production schedule of the Mullen Five, the company appears determined to showcase the product design of the Five RS at the event in Las Vegas.

While details remain scarce, the invitation to the unveiling hints at a significant step forward, labeling it as the “product design world debut.” This suggests that Mullen might present either the road-ready variant or, at the very least, its design at CES 2024.

The Mullen Five RS prototype, introduced last year, was touted as an “ultra-high-performance EV.” Boasting all-wheel drive and a combined output exceeding 1,100 hp, the crossover demonstrated impressive acceleration, reaching 0-60 mph in less than two seconds and claiming a top speed of 200 mph. The prototype featured a performance-oriented suspension, robust brakes, and 21-inch wheels.

Originally scheduled for production in the fourth quarter of 2023, the Mullen Five faced setbacks. The company has now adjusted its timeline, planning to commence production of the Five RS in late 2025, with sales expected to kick off in mid-2026. Subsequent versions of the Five, including the entry-level $55,000 variant, are slated to follow.

The official debut of the crossover is scheduled for January 9 at CES 2024, where it will share the spotlight with the One cargo van and Three commercial vehicle. Additionally, the event will showcase other noteworthy vehicles, including the Bollinger B1, B2, and B4.
