Moke America has launched an upgraded, fully street-legal version of its electric Moke, offering a top speed of 45 miles per hour and an extended range of up to 80 miles.
The new model, which sheds its previous Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) classification, represents a major step forward for the brand as it brings its signature open-air EV to public roads without earlier restrictions.

The latest Moke is powered by a lithium battery that can be fully charged in around six hours using a standard 110V outlet. With official certification from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and an EPA Certificate of Conformity, the vehicle meets federal safety and environmental standards. “Our customers asked for more speed, and we delivered,” said Todd Rome, Founder and CEO of Moke America. “The new Moke is not just a beach cruiser anymore—it’s a true road vehicle built for everyday adventures.”
Customization remains central to Moke America’s identity. Buyers can choose from 13 exterior colors, seat options in white, black, or wicker, and various rim finishes. The model also includes a selection of canvas Bimini tops and optional accessories available through Moke America’s online store.

With its roots as a 1960s cultural icon favored by celebrities like Brigitte Bardot and James Bond, the electric Moke continues that legacy in modern form, combining nostalgia with contemporary electric performance. Moke America currently offers its vehicles through 30 dealerships nationwide.
