John Buelow, President of Mercury Marine, expressed excitement about unveiling the Avator 75e and 110e at CES, emphasizing the company’s commitment to introducing a range of low-voltage electric outboards. Buelow also highlighted the concept of a high-voltage electric propulsion system, positioning Mercury Marine as an innovation leader in the marine industry.

The Avator 75e produces approximately 7.5 kW (10 hp) of propulsive power, while the larger Avator 110e delivers 11 kW (15 hp). At full throttle, both models offer approximately one hour of run-time per charge, with a potential increase to 2-3 hours at 75% throttle for general boating.

Mercury’s swappable batteries provide a convenient solution for longer outings, allowing users to replace a depleted battery with a spare, akin to refueling with traditional fuel cans.
