Mercedes-AMG has partnered with n+ to introduce the Mercedes-AMG F1 City Edition, a high-performance electric bicycle priced at $4,000. The e-bike, available in three sizes, features a 750-watt hub motor, a color touchscreen, and multiple riding modes tailored for various performance levels.
A smart helmet, offered as an optional accessory for an additional $400, integrates with the bike’s telemetry system and provides safety-enhancing features such as crash detection, lighting, and turn indicators.

The e-bikeās motor enables pedal-assisted speeds of up to 28 mph and includes four riding modes: ‘Comfort’ for energy-efficient travel, ‘Sport’ for a balance of power and efficiency, ‘Sport Plus’ for enhanced acceleration, and ‘Race’ for maximum performance. The handlebar-mounted 5.5-inch color touchscreen displays key riding metrics, including speed and battery status, while also allowing control of the smart helmet.
Equipped with a Shimano 9-speed derailleur and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes featuring 203-millimeter slotted rotors, the e-bike is designed for both performance and safety. The frame, made from aluminum alloy, has a sleek silver finish but does not include mudguards or a luggage rack. The standard “DownTube” battery offers a 10Ah capacity, with an optional “SeatTube” battery available for extended range.

The optional smart helmet connects to the bikeās telemetry system and includes a light-sensitive headlamp, brake light, and thumb-controlled turn signals. It also features an emergency alert function that can send an SMS to pre-designated contacts in the event of an accident. “The integration of safety features with real-time data collection adds an extra layer of protection for riders,” the companies stated.
