Now, INEOS is looking to go all-electric with its second model and has once again asked Magna to help bring it to fruition.
Magna will be responsible for the complete engineering of the new off-road EV and will manufacture the vehicles in Graz. INEOS plans to start production in 2026. Magna’s expertise in innovative EV technology and complete vehicle engineering will be invaluable to the project.
The details of the off-road EV are not yet known, but it is certain to benefit from Magna’s engineering agility, expertise, and experience. INEOS CEO Lynn Calder spoke to the collaboration, saying, “We’ve seen first-hand the value of applying Magna’s agility, expertise and experience to a complete vehicle development program. Deepening our collaboration is a natural next step as we use the Grenadier as a springboard for our continued growth as a global automotive brand with our second model line.”
