Mack Trucks has expanded its certified electric vehicle (EV) dealer network to 65 locations across North America, adding 12 new sites to its growing roster. This expansion includes four new locations in Canada and eight in the United States, further strengthening the company’s support infrastructure for its electric vehicle lineup.
The new Canadian locations include three in Ontario and one in Quebec, while the U.S. additions span across Maine, Michigan, Montana, Tennessee, Texas, California, and Wisconsin. Mack Trucks emphasized that these certified dealers provide comprehensive sales and service support for its EV offerings. To qualify for certification, dealers must invest in the necessary EV infrastructure and undergo technical training. Many of these locations have also set up dedicated EV support teams to assist with route planning, charging strategies, and help customers access available incentives.
“The continued expansion of our certified EV dealership network demonstrates our commitment, and our dealers’ commitment, to a sustainable future,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “Together with our Mack dealers, we help make this possible by offering customers support from the purchase of the vehicle, seeking of incentives, infrastructure readiness and training to help them better acclimate to the new technology and to further the adoption of EV vehicles.”
Mack Trucks, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group, currently offers two EV models in North America: the Mack LR Electric, a vocational refuse truck, and the Mack MD Electric, available in Class 6 and Class 7 ratings. The LR Electric features a 376 kWh battery pack, while the MD Electric can be configured with either 150 or 240 kWh battery packs. Mack also provides financing solutions through Mack Financial Services, including the ‘ElectriFi Subscription’ program and the ‘Ultra Service Agreement’ for comprehensive vehicle support.
