Lucid Motors has started deliveries of its Gravity SUV, marking the launch of its second production model. The deliveries come shortly after production began at the company’s plant in Casa Grande, Arizona.

The first units of the Gravity SUV have been delivered to employees, friends, and families, according to a statement shared by Lucid on Monday. The vehicle is available in a single trim, the Grand Touring, which is priced between $94,900 and $126,500, depending on the chosen configuration. It offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 450 miles.

The Gravity follows Lucid’s Air sedan, launched in 2021, and represents the company’s efforts to expand its product lineup within the electric vehicle (EV) market.

The Gravity is equipped with Tesla’s NACS charging port, making it one of the few non-Tesla vehicles to adopt the standard. Lucid began expanding its Arizona production facility earlier this year to accommodate the SUV, including upgrades to the general assembly line and powertrain facilities.

Pre-production versions of the Gravity were completed in July, with full-scale production beginning earlier this month. Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson confirmed plans for the SUV earlier this year, with production milestones aligned with the company’s broader manufacturing timeline.

The Gravity SUV aims to compete in the premium electric SUV segment, a key growth area within the EV market. The vehicle has been observed undergoing testing internationally, including in South Korea earlier this year. Lucid’s efforts to scale production and diversify its offerings are seen as strategic steps toward establishing a stronger presence in the competitive EV industry.
