Liebherr has introduced the Liduro Power Port 100 (LPO 100), its latest and most compact battery energy storage system, designed to power electric construction equipment and mobile offices. The system will make its debut at bauma 2025, offering a portable energy solution for job sites with limited or no access to power.

The LPO 100 has already been tested in real-world conditions by French construction company CJ Bois, where it powered a 65 K.1 bottom-slewing crane. By charging overnight using a standard 2 kW household outlet, the unit was able to deliver up to 26 kW of power to on-site equipment the following day.

Its quiet operation and ability to improve working conditions compared to traditional internal combustion generators were highlighted as key benefits.

Liebherr plans to offer the LPO 100 for both purchase and rental, expanding its lineup of electrification solutions. The unit is designed for efficient energy supply to fast-erecting tower cranes and compact electric machinery, such as the Liebherr L 507 E wheel loader.
