Li Auto announced that the first Li Mega electric MPV designated for customer delivery has been successfully produced at the company’s manufacturing facility in Beijing. Deliveries are scheduled to commence on March 11, marking a significant milestone for the Beijing-based automaker.
The Li Mega, the debut battery electric vehicle (BEV) model from Li Auto, was officially unveiled on March 1. Since its launch, the Li Mega has garnered significant attention and popularity among customers. However, Li Auto has not disclosed the exact number of orders received for the model during the initial days of its launch.
To ensure efficient production, Li Auto’s Beijing plant has implemented advanced production processes, including 100 percent unmanned distribution and 99.5 percent automated welding, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation and efficiency.
The Li Mega is currently available in the Max trim only, with a starting price of RMB 559,800 ($77,760), making it the most premium offering in Li Auto’s current lineup.
Li Auto announced that it received over 10,000 pre-orders for the Li Mega within the first hour and 42 minutes of opening pre-sales.

Li Xiang, founder, chairman, and CEO of Li Auto, revealed on February 29, the day before the official launch of the Li Mega, that the number of pre-orders with a RMB 5,000 reservation fee far exceeded the performance of the 2022 Li L9 over the same period.
Li Auto claims that the Li Mega is the world’s fastest-charging all-electric vehicle, capable of gaining 500 kilometers of range from a 12-minute charge.
