LG Business Solutions USA has announced the launch of its first Level 3 DC Charger, model LG EVD175SK-PN, for the U.S. market.

This new charger complements LG’s existing Level 2 AC chargers, offering commercial customers flexible options to support the increasing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. Assembly of the chargers is set to begin this fall at LG’s production facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

The LG EVD175SK-PN features a 24-inch high-resolution LCD touch-screen display, dynamic load management capabilities, and a liquid-cooled charging cable, enabling charging speeds of up to 175 kW.

The Level 3 DC Charger includes a connected Power Bank, making it suitable for businesses, municipalities, and public locations looking to enhance their EV charging services.

Michael Kosla, Senior Vice President of LG Business Solutions, noted that combining Level 2 and Level 3 chargers offers various opportunities for customers to build or improve their EV infrastructure.
