Leapmotor has officially launched its much-anticipated C10 SUV, marking a significant milestone as the company’s first global model. The C10 made its world debut at the prestigious Munich auto show in September 2023 and has since captured the attention of electric vehicle enthusiasts worldwide. Following its successful unveiling, the C10 went on pre-sale in China on January 10 this year, generating considerable buzz among consumers.
In addition to the launch of the C10, Leapmotor has announced updates to its existing models, the T03, C01, and C11. These models have been enhanced with upgraded specifications and lower prices, further enhancing Leapmotor’s competitive edge in the market.

The Leapmotor C10 is a versatile five-seat SUV available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions, aligning with Leapmotor’s commitment to offering environmentally friendly mobility solutions. Like other models in Leapmotor’s C-series, the C10 boasts a range of innovative features designed to deliver an exceptional driving experience.
The C10 BEV is offered in four versions, with prices starting at RMB 128,800 ($17,900). Meanwhile, the C10 EREV comes in three variants, with prices starting at RMB 135,800. During the pre-sale period, the C10 EREV was available at prices ranging from RMB 151,800 to RMB 181,800, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.

With a length of 4,739 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, and a height of 1,680 mm, the C10 EREV offers ample space for passengers and cargo. Its wheelbase of 2,825 mm ensures a smooth and stable ride, even on challenging terrain.
The Leapmotor C10 is the first product to be built on the company’s advanced LEAP 3.0 technology architecture, highlighting Leapmotor’s commitment to innovation and excellence in electric vehicle design. The C10 also offers optional LiDAR, further enhancing its safety and convenience features.
Inside, the C10 boasts a smart cockpit powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip, a standard feature on new mid-to-high-end models introduced by the company in recent months. The top-of-the-line versions of the C10 come equipped with LiDAR and utilize a single Nvidia Orin X chip, further enhancing the vehicle’s performance and capabilities.

The C10 BEV is powered by a single electric motor with a peak power output of 170 kW and a peak torque of 320 Nm, ensuring a smooth and powerful driving experience. The entry-level version of the C10 BEV features a battery pack with a capacity of 52.9 kWh, providing a CLTC range of 410 km. The other three versions come with a larger 69.9 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive CLTC range of 530 km.
Meanwhile, the C10 EREV features the same motor performance as the C10 BEV but adds a 1.5L engine as a range-extender. Its battery pack has a capacity of 28.4 kWh, providing a CLTC range of 210 km. When fully fueled and charged, the C10 EREV boasts an impressive CLTC range of 1,190 km, making it an ideal choice for long-distance travel.
