Leapmotor, the Chinese electric vehicle brand partnered with Stellantis through the Leapmotor International joint venture, has rapidly expanded its footprint in Europe, reaching 450 sales outlets across 14 countries since its market entry in September 2024. The company is now raising its annual target to 600 outlets, up from the initial 500.
With the majority of its sales points integrated into Stellantis’ dealer networkāalongside brands such as Fiat, Opel, and PeugeotāLeapmotor has delivered over 1,500 vehicles to European customers. In Germany, the company recorded nearly 180 new registrations in the final quarter of 2024 and another 155 in January 2025. However, industry observers note that some of these registrations may include demonstration vehicles.

Leapmotor currently offers two models in Europe: the T03, a compact five-door hatchback priced from ā¬18,900, featuring a 37.3 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 265 km, and the C10 SUV, available from ā¬34,900 in France (Ā£36,500 in the UK), with a 69.9 kWh battery, a 160 kW motor, and a WLTP range of 420 km. The company expects additional momentum from the upcoming C10 range extender version, set to arrive in dealer showrooms in the coming months.
Tianshu Xin, CEO of Leapmotor International, described the companyās European performance as āon trackā and highlighted the brandās potential for further expansion. āWe want to increase our growth significantly over the rest of the year,ā Xin said. Meanwhile, Stellantis has reported growing dealer interest in Germany, with ten new retail partners joining since the start of 2025.

Stellantis acquired a 20% stake in Leapmotor in 2023 as part of its strategy to strengthen operations in China and introduce Leapmotorās electric vehicles to European markets. The two companies subsequently formed a joint venture, with Stellantis holding a 51% stake and Leapmotor the remaining 49%.
