KTM has unveiled the Macina Style 810 Di2, a new premium electric trekking bike featuring an automatic wireless shifting system and a high-capacity integrated battery. The e-bike is now available in European markets with a retail price of €4,999.
At the core of the new model is the Shimano Cues Di2 derailleur system, which operates electrically and can shift gears automatically without the use of traditional Bowden cables. The electronic gear system offers eleven speeds and reduces dependency on the Bosch mid-drive motor.
Powering the Macina Style 810 Di2 is a Bosch Performance Line CX motor (BDU3840), supported by an 800 Wh removable battery integrated into the frame.
KTM claims the battery allows for a long range on a single charge, though exact figures may vary depending on use.
The e-bike weighs 27.4 kg and supports a maximum load of 145 kg. It includes a Suntour NCX32-E Air L0 suspension fork with 63 mm of travel and a suspension seat post, offering comfort for long rides despite lacking a rear shock. A Kiox 500 display and LED remote are included, and the system can provide navigation guidance through a paid subscription.
Additional features include Schwalbe Green Marathon Performance tires, a 170-lux front headlight, integrated mudguards, and a system luggage rack, making the Macina Style 810 Di2 suitable for both urban and trekking applications. KTM describes the bike as “very well-equipped” and suited for riders seeking comfort and convenience in an electric platform.
