The 2025 Kia EV9 has been named Best Electric Vehicle of 2025 by Cars.com, cementing its status as one of the top electric vehicles (EVs) in the market. This prestigious recognition, part of Cars.com’s annual Best Of rankings, celebrates standout vehicles across various categories, with the EV9 taking the top spot in the electric vehicle segment.
Kia’s all-electric, three-row SUV was praised for its impressive combination of range, fast-charging capabilities, comfort, and advanced technology, making it a compelling option for both families and EV enthusiasts.

The Kia EV9 stands out with its spacious three-row interior, offering seating for up to six or seven passengers, making it a practical choice for families. Its fast-charging capability is another key highlight, with the EV9 able to charge from 10-80% in under 25 minutes when connected to a high-speed DC charger.
The vehicle also incorporates advanced technology, including Kia’s ultra-wideband-based Digital Key for enhanced security and convenience, as well as Onboard Power Generator (V2L) functionality, which allows the vehicle to power external devices.
