Kempower said it is expanding electric vehicle charging deployments with Blink Charging through a network rollout covering 14 charging sites across the United States.

The companies said two locations are already operational, while additional sites are scheduled to open across several states along the U.S. East Coast through 2026.

According to the companies, the charging locations are being developed in high-traffic areas near convenience stores and will use Kempower Power Units and Kempower Satellite fast chargers.

Blink said the reliability and operational uptime of Kempower’s charging systems were important factors in selecting the technology provider for the rollout.

“Reliable charging infrastructure depends on more than the equipment itself,” said Alex Calnan, senior vice president of global business engineering at Blink Charging.

“The training we’ve received through Kempower has helped our teams approach installation and commissioning with confidence and consistency,” Calnan said. “That foundation shows up in smooth deployments and strong long-term site performance.”

The companies said two charging sites have already opened, including locations at VASA Fitness and in Idaho Falls.

Blink said the VASA Fitness charging location launched with an Earth Day promotion offering temporary free charging and promotional charging credits for EV drivers.

“Kempower technology is designed to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly fast charging, and the new sites with Blink showcase how high-performance infrastructure can seamlessly support drivers’ everyday routines,” said Jed Routh, vice president of markets and products at Kempower.

“There is a lot of exciting work ahead with Blink as we work together to make sustainable transportation more accessible for everyday drivers,” Routh added.

The companies said the rollout forms part of broader efforts to expand public fast-charging infrastructure in the United States as EV adoption continues to increase.
