John Deere has introduced the new Z370R Electric ZTrak, a zero-turn electric riding mower designed to offer the same power and reliability that customers of its internal combustion engine (ICE) models have come to expect, but in a quiet and maintenance-free electric version. This innovative mower is set to revolutionize lawn care for homeowners, combining cutting-edge electric technology with the efficiency and durability Deere is known for.

One of the key upgrades in the Z370R Electric ZTrak is its larger mowing deck. The new model features a 54-inch cutting deck, which offers a significant improvement in capacity over its predecessor, the Z370R, which had a 42-inch deck. This larger deck allows homeowners to mow larger areas more efficiently, making it a highly attractive option for those with expansive lawns.

Additionally, the Z370R Electric now comes equipped with two 3.2 kWh rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs, enhancing its range and power. The dual-battery system enables the mower to cover up to 3.5 acres on a single charge, a notable increase from the 2-acre range of the earlier version.

“With the introduction of the Z380R Electric, we’re rounding out our portfolio of residential zero-turn mowers, providing our customers with both gas and electric options to suit their unique needs,” said Eric Halfman, go-to-market manager of riding lawn equipment at John Deere. “The new model builds on the proven performance of the Z370R, updated with a larger deck for enhanced efficiency, making it an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a powerful, low-maintenance solution to keep their lawns looking pristine.”

The Z370R’s electric transaxle, capable of reaching a maximum forward speed of 7 mph, along with its three distinct drive modes, remain key features of the mower. These modes can be easily controlled through an LCD screen, offering flexibility and precision while mowing. The machine is designed to simplify operation while delivering a high-quality cut.

John Deere backs the Z370R Electric with a comprehensive two-year/200-hour bumper-to-bumper warranty and a five-year/200-hour battery warranty, ensuring peace of mind for users. For those looking for extended coverage, an optional 10-year/400-hour warranty is also available.
