Italian motorcycle manufacturer Italian Volt is preparing to showcase the production-ready version of its revolutionary electric motorcycle, the Lacama 2.0, at the prestigious EICMA event scheduled for November 7, 2022. Originally introduced as a concept in 2017, the motorcycle has undergone significant improvements and refinements to meet the demands of discerning motorcyclists worldwide.
Crafted entirely in Italy by Italian Volt, a brand under the Tazzari Group, the Lacama 2.0 exemplifies modern-day engineering excellence. The motorcycle’s design philosophy centers around delivering unparalleled performance while offering an extensive range of customization options to cater to individual preferences.
At the core of the Lacama 2.0 lies an ultra-lightweight frame made from a single cast aluminum, meticulously developed in-house to ensure a compact yet powerful electric motorcycle. Customers are empowered to create their unique motorbike by selecting from 10 front-end design variants and choosing between two-seater and single-seater saddle options.
The bike’s distinctiveness is further enhanced by a choice of 22 colors available for painting the frame and swingarm. The high level of comfort is assured with memory gel technology integrated into the 20 eco-leather saddle color options. Each Lacama 2.0 motorcycle is assigned a unique number and adorned with plates on both sides of the frame, along with laser engravings on the rear plate holder frame, showcasing its progressive number.
The Lacama 2.0 incorporates Tazzari EV Technology’s innovative Fluid Battery System, which utilizes batteries with cells immersed directly in a dielectric liquid. This design enables efficient cooling, heating, and fireproof insulation for optimal battery performance. The bike’s PMSM Axial Flux Motor, boasting an impressive 150 horsepower and 230 Nm (161 pound-feet) of torque, weighs a mere 11 kg and is powered by a reinforced high-density carbon fiber belt, ensuring seamless and efficient energy transfer.
With its highly energy-efficient system, the Lacama 2.0 maximizes range and overall performance, making it a formidable electric motorcycle in the market. Moreover, the motorcycle offers four Riding Modes – Rain, Eco, Sport, and Rocket – providing riders with versatility and adaptability to various riding conditions and preferences.
As the Lacama 2.0 debuts at EICMA 2023, motorcycle enthusiasts and industry experts eagerly await the opportunity to witness this exceptional example of Italian engineering and craftsmanship that promises to redefine the electric motorcycle landscape.
