Hyundai Translead has appointed Hendrickson Fleet Solutions as its authorized commercial vehicle dealer for New York and New Jersey, expanding regional access to the Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell, the company’s hydrogen-powered Class 8 truck.
Under the partnership, Hendrickson Fleet Solutions will sell, service and support the XCIENT Fuel Cell truck through three full-service locations across the two states. The dealer will provide sales, parts, warranty coverage and hydrogen infrastructure support for fleet customers in the New York City metropolitan area and the broader Northeast, Hyundai Translead said.

The appointment supports Hyundai Translead’s strategy to broaden its North American distribution footprint for zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles, particularly as fleet operators explore alternatives to diesel for regional haul and port operations.
“It’s much more than a new product offering,” said Chance Parker, vice president of EV strategy at Hendrickson Fleet Solutions. “Combining the Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell truck with Hendrickson’s customer-centric EV integration and infrastructure support, we are delivering complete fleet solutions for zero-emission success.”
