Along with the launch of the RN22e electric concept car that carries the chassis and body of the recently released Hyundai Ioniq 6, Hyundai also launched the N Vision 74.
Hyundai N Vision 74 comes with a combination of retro style with a futuristic cyberpunk look. This car derives its design from an earlier Hyundai concept car called the Pony and was first shown to the public in the 1970s.
Hyundai claims this car as a hybrid vehicle. But instead of a petrol engine, Hyundai combines battery power with the hydrogen fuel cell previously used in the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo which was introduced in 2015.
The combination of the two is said to be able to bring better cooling efficiency. It also allows for shorter recharging times than standard electric cars. This car uses precise torque vectoring to help it corner better.
For performance, the N Vision 74 sports car concept transmits power to the rear wheels, producing over 671 horsepower and peak torque of 900 Nm. Hyundai claims a range of more than 600 kilometers on a single charge.
“The RN22e and N Vision 74 played an important role in the strategic development of our entire product range, particularly our high-performance electric vehicles,” said Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai’s Customer Experience Division.
