Hyundai is sweetening the deal for customers purchasing or leasing the 2025 IONIQ 5 by offering a free ChargePoint Level 2 home charger or a $400 charging credit.

This promotion, launched in January 2025, is designed to make the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) even more attractive by providing home charging solutions or credits for use at public stations.

The program builds on the success of Hyundai’s earlier offer, which began in September 2024 and included the IONIQ 6 and Kona Electric models.

With the 2025 IONIQ 5 now offering more range, a sleek redesign, and the addition of an NACS port for Tesla Supercharger compatibility, Hyundai is making it easier for customers to go electric.

As part of the offer, customers can either receive a free ChargePoint L2 Home Flex Charger or a $400 credit redeemable at public ChargePoint, EVgo, and Shell Recharge stations.

To participate, buyers and lessees must create a profile on the Hyundai Home Marketplace, where they can select the offer and schedule installation for the charger. The offer must be redeemed within 60 days of purchase or lease, and installation costs are not included.

The 2025 IONIQ 5 starts at $43,975, with the extended range model, offering up to 318 miles, priced at $46,550. With the potential $7,500 federal EV tax credit, the effective price could drop below $36,500.
