Hyundai Ioniq 6 just spotted in a parking lot on the street with regular mirrorsIf you follow the development of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 from the beginning to its official introduction some time ago, one of the things to look at is the use of the camera for the rearview mirror. All promotional materials released by Hyundai show the Ioniq 6 using the camera as a rearview mirror.

Many have asked if the Ioniq 6 will also come with regular mirrors like the Ioniq 5. And it looks like some markets (we assume not all) may also get the option of using a regular mirror.

This was revealed in a deleted Reddit post, which saw the Ioniq 6 parked on the street using the rearview mirror. In the picture the Ioniq 6 does look very sleek, even parked on a random sidewalk somewhere.

Production of the Ioniq 6 is slated to begin in October, and leaked pricing information suggests that the Ioniq 6 shouldn’t be much more expensive than the Ioniq 5.

Ioniq 6 comes with a range that reaches 610 kilometers. This range is achieved using a single motor, rear-wheel drive powertrain and a long-range 77.4 kWh battery.

Hyundai claims the RWD model will also be one of the most efficient EVs on the market today, with a consumption of 14 kWh/100 km.

The long-range battery model is equipped with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain, which can deliver up to 320 hp and 446 lb-ft of torque and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.

The Ioniq 6 supports both 400V and 800V charging infrastructure, with 800V charging as standard. Support for this charging option is the same as that of the Ioniq5.
