GWM reported strong sales performance in October, delivering 143,078 vehicles, marking its second-highest monthly total on record after December 2021’s 162,369 units. The figure represents a 22.5 percent increase from the same month last year and a 7.1 percent rise from September, supported by solid domestic and overseas demand.

Overseas sales reached a record 57,158 units in October, accounting for 39.95 percent of total sales and marking the third consecutive month of record highs. The figure rose 28.7 percent year-on-year and 13.7 percent month-on-month, reflecting GWM’s growing global footprint.

New energy vehicle (NEV) sales also reached an all-time high of 46,155 units, up 44.1 percent year-on-year and slightly higher than September, accounting for 32.26 percent of total monthly sales. The Haval brand remained the company’s primary sales driver with 88,235 vehicles sold in October, representing 61.67 percent of total deliveries — a 21.4 percent increase from a year earlier and a 7.7 percent rise month-on-month.

The Tank brand contributed 22,306 units, marking its sixth consecutive month above 20,000 units, up 16.6 percent year-on-year and 4 percent month-on-month. The premium Wey brand sold 12,699 vehicles, a 95.8 percent increase compared with the same period last year and up 15.2 percent from September.

From January to October, GWM sold 1,066,436 vehicles, a 9.9 percent increase from a year earlier. Overseas deliveries totaled 391,339 units during the period, up 6.2 percent year-on-year and accounting for 36.7 percent of total sales.

By brand, Haval sold 616,718 vehicles in the first ten months, up 13.3 percent year-on-year and representing 57.83 percent of GWM’s total sales. The Tank brand recorded 187,449 units, a 0.8 percent decline year-on-year, while the Wey brand sold 76,292 units, up 96.3 percent. GWM’s sustained growth reflects its strengthening presence in overseas markets and rising demand for its NEV lineup.
