GMC has announced the 2025 Sierra EV Denali, introducing significant updates to its electric truck lineup. The new model features Extended Range and Max Range battery packs, offering improved driving distances for consumers.
The Extended Range option provides a GM-estimated range of 390 miles (628 km), while the Max Range variant aims for an estimated 460 miles (740 km). This marks a slight improvement over last year’s model, which was rated for an estimated 440 miles (708 km).
In addition to the battery enhancements, GMC reports a modest increase in power output, raising it from an estimated 754 horsepower (562 kW / 764 PS) to 760 horsepower (567 kW / 771 PS). Torque remains unchanged at 785 lb-ft (1,063 Nm).
Pricing adjustments have also been made, with the base price for the Sierra EV Denali reduced from $99,495 to $91,995. This figure includes a destination fee, which has risen from $1,995 last year to $2,095 for 2025. For customers interested in the Max Range variant, pricing starts at $100,495.
The Sierra EV lineup is expected to expand in early 2025 to include Elevation and AT4 trims, which were previewed in 2022. These new trims will feature distinctive front fascias and reduced equipment levels compared to the Denali.
Among the upcoming features, the AT4 trim is anticipated to be particularly appealing, offering an additional 2 inches (51 mm) of ground clearance and 18-inch wheels fitted with 35-inch all-terrain tires. Additional highlights are expected to include advanced technologies such as Super Cruise, 4-Wheel Steer, CrabWalk, and a spray-on bedliner.
