Genesis has delivered the first Genesis GV60 to consumers in the United States on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
The first customer who was lucky to get a Genesis GV60 was Patricia Wayne from Los Angeles. The Genesis GV60 that was handed over to Patricia Wayne is Uyuni White and expressed enthusiasm for her new electric vehicle.
“GV60’s design is simply breathtaking and you can’t beat its curb appeal. I wanted to be part of the next generation of luxury EVs. I like to think that the GV60 has evolved the basic function of electric cars into a new kind of sustainable luxury.” said Patricia Wayne
Wayne said the GV60 at the Genesis store in Santa Monica, California, after being attracted by its bold style and cutting-edge technology.

“I’ve been following this car for almost a year now, and I’m embarrassed to admit how eager I’ve been for it to arrive. I definitely feel like a kid for the first time in a while and cannot wait to hit the road in this car. I feel so unbelievably lucky to be the first person in the U.S. to own the GV60.” said patricia Wayne
The Genesis GV60 is a cousin of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, which both use the E-GMP platform.
The Genesis GV60 sold in the United States is only available in a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive version with a 77.4 kWh battery, starting at $58,890 (plus $1,090 DST). Its EPA range is 248 miles (399 km).
