Chinese consumers will increasingly have options for zero-emission mobility with the Panda revived by Geely as an electric vehicle. Geely Panda has similar overall proportions to the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, the country’s top-selling electric vehicle.

From photos from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the Geely Panda has a square-shaped design, and measures just 3,065 mm (120.6 inches) long, 1,522 mm (59.9 inches) wide, 1,600 mm (62.9 inches) high. , with a 2,015 mm (79.3 in) wheelbase.

The Geely Panda will be sold through the Geely Geometry brand and feature a simple pair of circular headlamps without the traditional front grille.

The Geely Panda’s body comes with attractive curves and creases, especially on the front panels and doors. The rose gold trim around and between the headlights adds points to the overall style.

Geely Panda uses small four-spoke wheels and like the Hongguang Mini EV, Panda also has a two-door B-pillar design.

Around the back of the Geely Panda are a small third brake light on the rear window, a pair of square taillights with curved corners, and a blackened bumper at the bottom.

While the full specifications of the Geely Panda have not been fully disclosed including driving range, local media reports that the car uses a 30 kW (40 hp) electric motor and a small lithium iron phosphate battery from Gotion Hi-Tech.
