Aion, the new energy vehicle brand of China’s GAC Group, has released regulatory images and specifications for its upcoming N60 electric model, signaling the expansion of its product lineup in the fast-growing mid-size electric SUV segment.

The vehicle features a short front hood, wide lighting elements, large window areas and aerodynamic wheels, giving it a profile reminiscent of an enlarged and modernized version of the Aion Y. Higher-spec variants are equipped with a roof-mounted lidar sensor, pointing to advanced driver-assistance capabilities.

According to the MIIT filing, the Aion N60 measures 4,615 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width and 1,673 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm. The curb weight is listed at 1,630 kg.

Two electric powertrain options are disclosed: a base version with a 100 kW motor and a top speed exceeding 150 km/h, and a higher-output variant producing 165 kW with a top speed above 160 km/h.

GAC plans to launch the Aion N60 in the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2026, as domestic automakers continue to broaden electric offerings across multiple body styles to capture demand from urban family buyers and ride-hailing fleets.
