GAC Group has introduced its AION V electric SUV to Finland, marking the company’s third market entry in Europe and a key milestone in its broader “European Market Plan.” The launch, conducted in partnership with global automotive distributor Inchcape, highlights GAC’s growing commitment to expanding its presence across the continent and advancing sustainable mobility in the Nordic region.
The AION V is positioned as a technologically advanced electric SUV that meets European expectations for safety and efficiency. The model delivers a WLTP range of 510 kilometers and has earned the 2025 Euro NCAP five-star safety rating, underscoring its emphasis on driver protection and reliability.

Equipped with ultra-fast charging, the vehicle can recharge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes, aligning with Finland’s expanding EV infrastructure and addressing range concerns among drivers. Its 2,775-mm wheelbase and 427-liter trunk capacity provide ample interior space, while GAC offers 8-year warranties for both the vehicle and battery to enhance long-term ownership confidence.
The launch in Finland follows GAC’s market entries in Poland and Portugal, with the company targeting full European coverage by 2028. The strategic alliance with Inchcape, first formalized at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, combines GAC’s electric vehicle expertise with Inchcape’s established European sales and service network.
