Unveiled recently, the FREY Dopamine 2.0 boasts several upgrades, including a unique pedal drivetrain featuring both an upper and lower idler pulley. This design eliminates pedal kickback, offering riders a smoother pedaling experience. While FREY bikes excel in downhill performance, they are also known for their powerful performance on various terrains. The Bafang M560 mid-drive motor on the Dopamine 2.0, although rated at 500W, boasts an impressive 140 Nm torque rating, making it ideal for steep hill climbs. With a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph), the bike offers a swift ride on flat surfaces as well.

The bike features a chain-driven SRAM NX11s drivetrain, providing riders with a wide range of gear ratios. One standout feature of the FREY Dopamine 2.0 is its throttle, a rarity in the electric mountain bike market. The throttle allows riders to access the bike’s high power with the push of a button, enhancing the overall riding experience.
