Fiat has released the first official images of the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, two new C-segment models that will form part of the brand’s effort to strengthen its presence in the family mobility market.
The two vehicles share a common global platform but target different customer preferences through distinct body styles. Both are scheduled to launch in Europe, the Middle East and Africa during the second half of 2026, with availability also planned for Latin America.
Two Approaches to Family Mobility
The Grizzly is positioned as a family-oriented sport utility vehicle designed to maximize interior space and practicality through its upright proportions and taller cabin design.
The Grizzly Fastback adopts a more streamlined profile with a lower roofline and increased cargo length, targeting customers seeking a more lifestyle-focused design.
Despite their different styling approaches, both vehicles are intended to offer a balance of interior room, versatility and everyday usability.
Compact Dimensions, Multiple Powertrain Options
Fiat said both models will measure less than 4.5 meters in length while providing competitive cabin space and luggage capacity within the segment.
The company plans to offer a range of powertrain options spanning conventional gasoline engines and battery-electric variants.
Additional technical specifications, including battery sizes, driving range and performance figures, have not yet been disclosed.
The vehicles will feature distinct LED lighting signatures as part of their exterior design identity.
Expanding the Fiat Family Lineup
The introduction of the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback follows the launch of the Grande Panda, which marked Fiat’s renewed focus on practical and affordable family vehicles.
“Grande Panda marked the return of Fiat to affordable family movers,” said Olivier Francois, chief executive of Fiat and global chief marketing officer of Stellantis.
“With Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, we’re completing this lineup with two vehicles designed around different needs, different lifestyles, but sharing the same idea: smart, accessible and rooted in Fiat’s design DNA.”
“Together, they bring Fiat back at the heart of the family mobility market with a complete and coherent line-up.”
Global Rollout Planned
Fiat intends to market both vehicles across multiple regions, reflecting the company’s strategy of leveraging global platforms to serve diverse markets.
The Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback are expected to play an important role in Fiat’s expansion within the highly competitive compact SUV segment, where demand for both traditional and electrified family vehicles continues to grow.
Additional details on specifications, pricing and market availability are expected closer to the vehicles’ launch in 2026.
