Fiat has just launched a new generation of Doblo and E-Doblo. The passenger car version will only be available with an electric powertrain, while the van version will be available with either an internal combustion engine or an electric model.

The E-Doblo uses a 100-kW electric motor and a 50-kWh battery that gives it a range of over 280 kilometers. The combination of a 100-kW electric motor and a 50-kWh battery is familiar to many other Stellantis Group models such as the Citroën-Berlingo, Peugeot e-Rifter/e-Partner and Opel Combo-e Cargo.

The E-Doblo has a maximum DC charging power of 100 kW, which allows the battery to be charged to 80 percent in 30 minutes. Fiat did not provide details on AC charging power in the press release.

The E-Doblo has typical Fiat design elements on the front and back, although overall it has a similar body to its Stellantis sibling.

The short wheelbase version is 4.40 meters long, while the long wheelbase version measures 4.75 meters. The long wheelbase version comes as a commercial vehicle model with a payload volume of 4.4 cubic meters and can accommodate goods with a maximum length of 3.4 meters. Meanwhile, the passenger car version offers Isofix mounts in all three rear seats.
